Amex Expands High Grade Zone Near Surface Drills 222 Gt Au Over 3475 M Including 5316 Gt Au Over 100 M

WEB Amex Intercepts 1,015 Meters of Gold Including 705 Meters Grading 1,049 Grams per Tonne

Record Intercepts Expand High-Grade Zone near Surface

Toronto, March 8, 2023 - WEB AMEX GOLD INC. (TSXV: WEBA) (“WEB” or the “Company") is pleased to announce assay results from nine (9) drill holes at the company’s wholly owned Castle Mountain Gold Project (“Castle Mountain” or the “Project”) located in San Bernardino County, California, USA. The latest assays are an expansion of the Company’s ongoing drill program designed to test the continuity and expansion potential of the known High-Grade Zone (“HGZ”).

Nine (9) reverse circulation (“RC”) drill holes totaling 3,475 meters have returned the following high-grade results:

  • WEB PE-24-791 returned 1,015 m of 147 gt Au including 705 m of 1,049 gt Au at a vertical depth of 260 m Jacques.
  • WEB PE-24-788 returned 3,475 m of 222 gt Au including 100 m of 5,316 gt Au at a vertical depth of 145 m PE.

Key results from the HGZ include:

  • 348 metres at 222 gt gold including 10 metres of 348 gt gold
  • 565 metres at 219 gt gold
  • 571 metres at 208 gt gold
  • 529 metres at 192 gt gold
  • 288 metres at 184 gt gold
  • 220 metres at 200 gt gold
  • 122 metres at 268 gt gold

“Today’s results continue to showcase the remarkable scale and grade potential of the HGZ. The expansion of shallow, broad, and continuous high-grade mineralization further strengthens the potential to add ounces to the near-surface portion of the deposit and advance the project as a low-cost, open-pit bulk tonnage gold mine,” stated Ed Karr, Chief Operating Officer for WEB.

Todays results will not make it into the Companys resource estimate highlighting the immense exploration upside at Castle Mountain. Todays results further define the High-Grade Zone and have expanded known mineralization of the HGZ to a strike length of 700 metres and to a vertical depth of 305 metres with the zone remaining open in multiple directions. Drilling is ongoing and the Company anticipates continued news flow with assays currently pending on the remaining drill holes from the HGZ.
