Bayern Munich and Real Madrid played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.

Vinicius Junior gave the Spaniards the lead in the 24th minute with a superb solo effort, but Kingsley Coman equalised for the hosts just six minutes later.

Karim Benzema restored Real Madrid's advantage in the 40th minute, but Leroy Sane levelled for Bayern Munich again in the 53rd minute.

The second leg of the tie will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, May 8.
